romans used to say that money doesn't stink. This was referred to the fact that the dirtiest thing of earth, no matter how dirty it could be or how illegally obtained, can still buy things. Well as I mentioned in previous posts, here adn in the other blog and in the Italian forum advertised here, the enemies of the Western world, Chinese and the much hated Arabs are still used at pleasure byt the US when and if necessary. Citigroup, once again in trouble, after ADIA (Au Dhabi investment Authority) help taking on some shares is now waiting for Prince Waleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz of saudi Arabia to help them again. For those who don't remember the past, Prince Waleed, one of the greatest businessmen I had the pleasure to meet, helped Citigroup to get out of a heavy situation, much more than today's, purchasing the majority of shares, and only when things went back to normal, the Americans imposed the sale of most of the shares because he was not American, actually, he was an Arab. when Prince Waleed offered some cash to help the families hit by the 9/11 tragedy, rudi giuliani refused the money as it was inappropriate... him, a Saudi, contributing to a fund were the people benefitting were relatives of the victims of Saudi terrorists... When the port authority was going to be sold to an Arab company, it was decided to give up due to the fact that it was not "fair" that some Arabs would be managing some harbours operations... today... here we go... They all are after the money of the Arabs and Chinese. in the mean time China has blocked Citigroup from selling shares in a Chinese bank to avoid market turbolence. well done! That's all folk... Will come back soon with some updates from China. tata!
