Down with Europe!

The idea of a Federal Union of Europe has caressed my fantasy since I was a child. Growing up the desire for a bit more Europe in our lives was becoming an absolute need for me as I saw it as the only solution to get rid of our political class. Not even Judge Di Pietro managed to clean up our system but, the European ambition I had has gone dieing off every single time a new country was joining Europe, every single time there was a referendum to approve or reject a Treaty, whether it was Maastricht, Nice or, recently Lisbon.

I have understood that the European Union is a utopia and trying to put together Irish and Spaniards, Italians and Danes is like marrying a person you know you will never be happy with but with which you can share the costs of the flat.

When not even the costs an be shared, you have the European Union.

I got some Irish friends and I have met many Irish people in the UK and around the world. They tend to indicate their differences with the Brits, they are proud of their traditions and heritage and they like to show it as if it was a way to make the world forget that during the great famine they hated their country more than the Brits that provoked it.

Those potato eaters, with time have become rich and sophisticated exploiting, in a god and ina bad way, the funds and the loopholes in the European Union. Those sophisticated islanders are now rich and exactly like their former rulers, are growing bigger in bigger in their arrogance.

Ireland used to be the Cinderella of that European Community, now it’s part of the rich people’s lobby and as such doesn’t hesitate to block any Treaty that endangers its status.

Enough is enough. Enough of Danes, Brits, Poles and Irish. Enough of these countries that are in Europe only to block the integration. The EU should be completely dismantled and rebuilt. The vetoes would not allow the expulsion of any member state but if all countries with goodwill will withdraw their presence from the EU institution and build a new one, nothing could be done.

I do not like the Treaty of Lisbon ad I didn’t like the Constitution but for opposite reasons of those who voted against: not enough power given to the Central Government. I would like to see Mr. Berlusconi and Sarkozy, being governors of they respective regions, not Prime Minister or Head of State.

The EU is just a machine that sucks money from every citizen and resident pocket. If you go to Brussels or Strasbourg, you will see the waste of money taking place. You will see translators that do not speak any language but their’s, you will see MP’s secretaries good at giving head rather than a hand…

Europe should be completely brought down and only a revolution can. Let’s start it now. Let’s start kicking ourselves out as we cannot kick the other’s asses.
