Olympic fever and hypocrisy on the rise!

Oh guys, Beijing is becoming hectic these days. People in the street are much less than usual but there is the Olympic fever spreading quickly and even those like me, untouched by the event is starting getting nervous as if the 8.08.08 at 08.08 PM is going to tick the new Century arrival!

Flags are proliferating, the fog is always there, the bonfire of hypocrisy worldwide is proliferating with the Italian politicians calling of the athletes not to go to the opening while these are very much excited at the idea of participating. 60% of the Italian is with the athletes. At last, the Italians are not disappointing me. How about France? They just call for the athlete to have a badge. Mr. Sarkozy was the one that said No to his participation to the opening and he will be here and not only that! He has managed t send his French to be wife, the singer ex model Carla Bruni, to meet the Dalai Lama in Paris. Once again Europe is fought between principles and feeding the masses.

President Bush, is for the civil rights! Wow! I cannot believe that this man has actually a soul, after all the people he sent to the electric chair and those he sent to die in Iraq and those he has killed with his troops! He even was against the death penalty of a Mexican Citizen that has been killed two days ago! He has a soul!! oh my God!!!

How about Italy fever towards clean and safe cities! No more food hunting in the rubbish in the streets! It makes our cities dirty! That is right guys, from now on no more searching for your lunches and dinners in the rubbish bins of the Capital! And while someone talks about reopening whorehouses in a northern city screwing a prostitute costs you 500 euro extra due to the fine (I call it tax) that the city government has levied on those looking for some mercenary sex.

A friend told me that Chinese are hypocrites. Wow! You should see the rest of the world, my dear friend!

A mail from a friend asked me whether my excitement for this Country is due to the fact that I never moved from Italy until now... Well... I lived and worked in 21 countries in my last 20 years so I should be really little or not impressible at all about places and people.

Another mail asked me about who I am and what my profession is. I would like to ask you to bear a bit of patience and in October I can tell a bit more about me, before I cannot.

Air quality these days... better talk about something else!

Tomorrow has been declared Public Holiday so we will enjoy an extended weekend. Thanks t the Government for that!
