Me Ol' China, one week BB (Before Brazil)

I have spent some unforgettable time in Venice. Fantastic hotel, weather, food, company and most of all, my older sister's wedding!

I will not go through details about my feeling and the wedding as I cherish them as something extremely personal and it would be impossible to describe the feelings and emotions I have been through because only knowing me and my family very well would allow you to understand me.

Last week, between London and Venice, have represented the two extremes. A place that is ancient and gives you the impression of greatness and luxury and romanticism and another one that gives you exact opposite feeling of decaying, dirt and unromantic place. Pity... I really loved London....

Venice... last time I was there was in 1986 and frankly I had no memories about this city... Perhaps because I was there with my classmates and we cared more about laughing and running behind some skirts than looking around at the architecture. I found it magical. I have to admit that during these years I have had only negative words for the city on the Lagoon but now I am deeply in love with it and all those bullshitting expressions of "The Venice of Belgium" " The Venice of the US" "The Venice of North" and so on is pure rubbish! Venice is Venice and it is not a bit of water that makes a city comparable to Venice.

But no doubt that the most important event for the world is the Financial Crisis that is deepening beyond any possible imagination with Central Banks and Governments intervening to avoid a global default. what do we learn from this? simply that the system is not up to its role but that the system we currently have in place is the one that allows a high degree of flexibility in rescuing the markets. The banks are coming out of it with broken bones, the Governments are having a hell of a high speed ride, people are getting grey hair but, after all, speculation is getting hit badly and this is my biggest satisfaction! The EU is proving to be worth nothing as each country does whatever wants and the usual parasites we have in Europe, talking about Ireland or the Netherlands, still try to vouch on the crisis putting in place the usual unfair competition against other States. But these others emulate the others and, currently, we are assisting to a nationalisation of the whole Banking System in the UK, proving that the free market they always have been proud of is literally CRAP! and Italy still risks to see the Alitalia rescue plan boycotted by the EU! It's a bloody joke! ahahha

Anyway folks, this Saturday I am flying to Sao Paulo in Brazil and from next week I will be reporting from there. Now I am tired and I go to have some lunch. Catch you later! Be good!
