Sunday morning started with a storm. Heavy rain, hence... threadmill and pool in the tropical rain, fantastic! After that went to a city called Bo Sang, famous for the making of umbrellas. they looked really nice and were a good piece of artwork but it's rather impossible to take them home.

Reaching the place was a piece of cake, once you understood where to pick up the bus... It wasn't easy but we, a friend of mine and I, managed to get on and reach this place. It was damn hot! we had a quick meal in someone's home, as it is customary over here and then walked around the place before reaching the decision to go back to Chiang Mai as we were tired after too much walk and standing in the heat. We waited for long time at the wrong corner and once we realised we went to wait for another bit to another wrong corner. A Thai lady walked towards us and indicated where to go to pick up the bus... Once on the bus we got off and decided to go to Chinatown but we had the wrong perception of the location we were in and... once again we found ourselves a thousand meters or so off the target but outside The Plaza so I could go to pick my software up. All worked this time.

After a long walk, a bit of relaxing before hitting the road around 8 and go to eat something outside a Buddhist Temple. You can look at the picture to understand the crowd around there... I tried a few delicacies, including some maggots, friend ones, and I must say that they should sell them in the cinemas instead of popcorns. They taste better and do not stink.

After a long long walk in the Sunday Market, I realised that I bought nothing and that I must go out shopping again if I want to buy some presents to take back with me to Italy.

Funny enough the idea of going back is not so bad anymore. I feel that I must go back to Europe and so what I have to do before starting a new adventure. So, I am looking forward to go back this coming weekend.

This morning I changed hotel. The one I am staying is clean and basic and no frills. It costs as much as the other one and it is conveniently located to go to school in the morning. No more jogging or pool till next week. CM is joggers' hell!

Massage classes are still going well and I am getting more practical. I was planning to come back in November to continue with another 3 levels but it is not possible as the courses I would like to attend are in January and February. I hope that by then I will be working, so I don't think I will be coming back for that. I might go for the Celta course though, they hold them here in CM in November and December, so I might go for it. We shall see.

I have decided to go shopping and I have overspent for some clothes but, frankly, I could not be bothered about bargaining. I don't even like what I bought anyway, so I might never use them.

I have been to a fish therapy place. A small parlour with some tanks full of little fish that eat your dead skin off. Fantastic! At the initial tickle and electrical shock feeling follows a pleasant massage by these little and voracious animals. Whoever came to the place started giggling once the feet were in the water. 30 minutes of funny relaxation. The foot massage they do in the same place is not medical, it's a pure relaxation one but it's ok. It was good.

So, another evening is gone and tomorrow is another day...

night night!
