Me Ol' China 2010: Day 9

A relaxing day... started with a Starbucks breakfast, a gym session and... the event of the year: hairdresser!!! I just love going to the hairdresser in China... Well... Let's say that the part I like less is when they cut my hair but the rest is just wonderful! 45 minutes between shampoo-scalp massage (15 mins) , head massage (15 mins), arm and shoulder massage (15 mins) and then the haircut. I look like Kim Jong Il, or whatever he is called but for GBP 4.8 you cannot go wrong!!! yes, 48 yuan for all of that.. I had to tip the guys who gave me 45 minutes of absolute pleasure and, I tipped the guy that made me look like a North Korean leader because he must have put a big effort into it to make me look like a western version of the "beloved leader". Daughter had her hair one too and 40 yuan later she looked wonderful!

Dinner with some friends in one of my favourite restaurants in Beijing, Da Dong, where they prepare fantastic ducks and... anything else it's just wonderful. A multistorey luxurious restaurant with handsome waiters and beautiful waitresses all elegantly dressed in traditional black Chinese costumes.  The place is refined and unique and it's a paradise for a few senses. The dinner was great talking about the nice old days, exchanging presents and impressions about the past and the present and, partially, talking about the future and wishing each other all the best.

At 9:30 back to the hotel for this short but exciting day. Another day tomorrow with Gym, Packing (rehearsing) and dinner somewhere nice...

Good night folks! Catch later!
